Sunken concrete problems just got better!
Kasteel offers a fast, economical repair solution for correcting concrete settlement and instability. High-density polyurethane injection is used for concrete lifting, stabilization, and void filling applications. This application has a mess-free work environment with a quick cure time which is less disruptive as the area is available within minutes not days. Because of the lightweight characteristic of polyurethane, it will not overburden the soil.
We use environmentally friendly products from HMI that offer clients a variety of applications:
Residential Applications
- Driveways
- Garage Pads
- Floor Slabs
- Patios
- Pool Decks
- Walkways
- Basements
- Porches
- Additions
Commercial/Industrial Applications
- City Curbs
- Sidewalks
- High and heavy traffic areas
- Loading docks, on/off ramps
- Bridge Approaches
- Airport Runway, Tarmacs
- Roadway Slabs
- Rail Crossings
Because foam jacking uses dime-sized holes it is also an ideal repair method for settled slabs which have decorative coatings, surface treatments or brick/stone overlays. Injection holes can be patched with stained concrete to blend in with floor coverings. This high-density foam is hydrophobic so it is ideal for wet applications and provides a moisture barrier as it is resistant to water penetration.
HMI RR201 | 2lb Concrete Raising Foam
RR201 is specifically designed for residential concrete raising. This 2.5 lb. per cubic foot density foam has a fast reaction time with less spread. This provides more control in the lifting of the concrete slabs in your driveway, patio, pool deck, walkways, garage approaches and sidewalks.
HMI RR401 | 4lb Concrete Raising Foam
Rocking concrete slabs caused by high traffic and heavy loads can lead to traffic hazards on our roads and possible OSHA issues in commercial or industrial settings. These safety issues require resolution, and ultimately led us to create a foam specifically for DOT, municipal, industrial, and commercial applications.
HMI RR401G Hydrophobic | 4lb Concrete Raising Foam
RR401G is our latest innovation in perfecting specialized foams for residential, commercial and DOT contractors who are lifting and leveling concrete slabs even when a void is filled with water. This 3-4 pound hydrophobic / hydro-insensitive foam is a two-component polyurethane foam like RR401, but is a gas blown foam product. Polyurethane can set-up and lift concrete while still maintaining its compressive strength, when it’s pumped under concrete slabs where water is present.
HMI RR501 | 5lb Stabilizing Foam
RR501, a 5 lb. per cubic foot density foam, provides a slower reaction time and further spread. Due to the distance this foam can travel, RR501 is excellent for undersealing and stabilizing joints on rocking slabs from slab curl. RR501 polyurethane foam is formulated for stabilization, not lifting; therefore, RR501 does not have a high expansive force.
HMI RR601 | 6lb Foam
RR601 polyurethane concrete raising and soil stabilizing foam was specifically engineered and formulated as a special request to us from D.O.T. engineers. RR601 is a 6 lb. per cubic foot density foam developed especially for infrastructure repair. The increased compressive strength is well suited for substantial loads and high traffic.
ROADWARE MATCHCRETE | Foundation Crack Repair
Walkways, driveways, and floors
Concrete cracks, spalls, and joints can be repaired with a special two-component aliphatic polyurethane. With a surface tension of one-third of water, this product gets deep into concrete surfaces and structurally bonds slabs back together within minutes.
Fun Facts:
Foam jacking is also commonly referred to as concrete lifting, polyurethane concrete raising, poly jacking, poly leveling, slab lifting and other similar names. The Foam jacking process was derived from the traditional concept of mud jacking (aka slab jacking) but has incorporated innovative knowledge and technology, providing a revolutionary lifting and stabilizing solution.
