The community of Behchoko, home to about 2,000 residents, had been without a recreation center for almost 10 years. Construction started on the new complex in August 2014 and the grand opening was November 26, 2016. The facility houses an ice rink, gym, youth center, meeting room, exercise room, concession, mezzanine, and offices.
The Khon Go Cho Complex supports the growth, health and success of Behchoko by providing the community with a hub for recreation, sports and tourism.
